Extortion - Terminal Cancer

I said I'd upload it. I took my time but I did do it. Enjoy.

Terminal Cancer

Captain Cleanoff

Captain Cleanoff is a complete grind holocaust. The band formed in the South Australian town of Mt Gambier in 1996 with Christian Dicer on drums before moving to Adelaide sometime afterward. Heath Twigden replaced Dicer in 1997. When early bassist Michael Slottagraf left the band, Johnson played bass until White joined the fold. Murray replaced Twigden in 2001. Captain Cleanoff played at Metal for the Brain in 2003.

RIFFTASTIC. Shit is addicting. Get it if you're a grind nut.

I don't need to say anything.

50 Lions

50 Lions is a hardcore band from Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia and are fast growing in the hardcore music scene.

In 2006 they released their self-titled 7” which sold out within 3 months of its release. Later that year they released their debut album Nowhere To Run, through Washed Up Records. Followed by Time Is The Enemy which was released through Resist Records.

In 2006 they did a tour with fellow and now defunct Australian band I Killed The Prom Queen. At the beginning of 2008 the band played alongside of Parkway Drive in 14 out of 15 dates to some less visited locations around Australia in the Surf Rat Tour.

So many shit bands come from Byron, but these guys are decent. Check it out.

ATTENTION

To everyone who lurks here, I never check this and I figured it'd be cool if I had someone else here posting stuff. If you have a similar taste to me and you want to post shit here just drop a comment and I'll see what I can do.

Here is my last.fm.
Cheers.

Los Crudos

Los Crudos (AKA Crudos) is an American hardcore punk band, prominent during the 1990s. Based out of Chicago, Illinois, all four members were Latino, so Los Crudos chose to sing almost all of their songs in Spanish. In addition, the band was extremely political; its lyrics often commented on cultural and socio-economic difficulties inherent in the American way of life. Los Crudos incorporated DIY ethics into every aspect of the band including promoting and organizing shows, producing records, distribution, and so on. This even included tours of Mexico and South America. The band’s recordings appeared on independent record labels such as Flat Earth Records and lead singer Martin Sorrondeguy’s label Legua Armada Discos.

In 2004, Martin Sorrondeguy released his documentary film Beyond The Screams: A U.S. Latino Hardcore Punk Documentary, which focussed on the Latino punk scene in the US. After Los Crudos came to an end, Sorrondeguy formed a new band, Limp Wrist, a queercore/straight edge hardcore punk band with which he performs. He has also been in the bands Harto and Tragatelo, as well. Guitarist Jose has gone onto play in Chicago punk band I Attack. Their last drummer Ebro was also in Charles Bronson, MK-Ultra and Punch In the Face.

Los Crudos did a surprise reunion show at the first “Latino Fest” put on by Southkore records in Chicago. They also played a reunion show at Chaos in Tejas 2008 and are scheduled to play the 3rd Latino Fest in Los Angeles.

Not as good as Limp Wrist but still pretty awesome.

Turns out I fully stuffed the upload. I'll have it back up later.
